Activities
The island is called Sal because of the exploitation of its salt. It is the main tourist point of Cape Verde due to the presence of the Amílcar Cabral International Airport in Espargo. Thanks to the strong wind, Sal is considered one of the best places in the word to practise windsurf, kitesurf and other water sports.
Furthermore, in some of its virgin beaches you will see animals of the area like manta rays and turtles, which nest on the coasts. This experience is worth seeing at least once in life. We also encourage to be responsible and respecting the nature that Cape Verde offers us.

Santa Maria is the ideal destination for the sports lovers who can try all the possibilities of fun and entertainment. The immense tropical beach in front of the station makes this quiet oasis the perfect place to travel in family, group or couple.
